Summary
Join Xebia, a global leader in digital solutions, and contribute to cutting-edge pricing and promotion recommendation tools. You will work alongside data scientists, analysts, and engineers to implement enhancements, develop new features, and translate business requirements into data science and analytics initiatives. This role requires 8+ years of experience in developing data science and analytics solutions, strong Python and SQL skills, and proficiency with Git and GitHub. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. This position is based in Moldova and requires legal authorization to work in the country.
Requirements
- Be ready to start immediately
- Have 8+ years' experience in developing data science and analytics solutions in a business setting
- Have experience with regression, linear/non-linear optimization, classification and segmentation problems
- Possess strong Python skills, especially with Pandas, common machine learning libraries and PySpark
- Possess strong SQL skills
- Have solid analytical skills, with the ability to derive conclusions and questions from data patterns
- Be proficient with Git and GitHub
- Understand basic software engineering best practices to write reusable code that can easily be put into production
- Have familiarity with Google Cloud (GCP)
- Be a team player, always willing to support your colleagues to the best of your ability
- Have a proactive mindset towards problem-solving; a βcan-doβ attitude is expected
- Possess strong written and verbal English communication skills and proficiency in communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Currently reside in Moldova and hold the legal right to work in Moldova
Responsibilities
- Work on and contribute to Pricing and Promotion recommendation tools, and Pricing elasticity modeling
- Work with data scientists, analysts, engineers and product management to implement enhancements, develop new features and translate business requirements into our data science and analytics initiatives
- Deliver on a wide spectrum of data-related tasks, ranging from reporting and analytics requests to the implementation and analysis of machine learning models
- Develop good quality code that is easily scalable and automated
- Work alongside engineers to ensure seamless integration of your work with tools that are live in a production environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience with Docker and orchestration tools
- Have experience using visualization tools like Tableau or Looker Studio
