Summary
Join KBRA Holdings, LLC as a Senior Database Administrator and modernize, secure, and scale our data platforms. This full-time, remote position (available in select states) focuses on building resilient, automated database systems. You will lead initiatives to modernize legacy environments, implement automation, and design fault-tolerant systems in hybrid cloud infrastructures. Collaborate with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to ensure performant, secure, and cost-effective database environments. A key responsibility is driving a self-service model, empowering developers with tools for independent interaction with backend database systems. The expected salary range is $150,000.00 to $190,000/year.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant technical certification
- 15 years of experience working in database administration, database engineering or related role
- 15 years of experience building & managing redundant, secured, and resilient Database environments, including On-Prem & Cloud
- 10 years of experience with Relational Databases including MS-SQL, MySQL, and Postgres
- 5 years of experience with No-SQL Databases including MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis
- 5 years of experience working with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP
- 5 years of experience with database automation
- 3 years of experience working with infrastructure as code and tools similar to Terraform
- 3 years of experience working with scripting languages including Bash, Python, and PowerShell
- 3 years of experience working with Linux
- Must successfully complete a competency-based interview
