Senior Developer, Fullstack

Summary

Join Fullscript's Engineering Team as a Senior Fullstack Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain features on our platform. You will create detailed API documentation for third-party developers, build scalable backend applications, and review pull requests. Responsibilities include taking ownership of features, scoping projects, collaborating with other developers, and contributing to high-level architecture decisions. The ideal candidate is a passionate software engineer with experience in Ruby or Ruby on Rails, Javascript frameworks, and CSS frameworks. Requirements

• You are a passionate software engineer that cares about your craft. You are excited to learn, lead projects and want to produce the best work possible
• Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails
• Experience working with Javascript or JS frameworks (React, Vue, AngularJS, Next or similar)
• Understanding of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, as well as CSS preprocessors
• You write tests and understand their value
• You have a desire to learn and being open to feedback
• Understanding of design patterns and clean code

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve feature development on Fullscript
• Create detailed API documentation to enable third-party developers to easily integrate with our platform
• Build scalable backend applications to support the growing needs of the business
• Review pull requests, mentor, and be an advocate for high-quality code that makes future development faster, easier and better
• Take full ownership and responsibility for building, shipping, testing, deploying and maintaining features
• Scope and plan projects and working with other developers (front-end and back) to implement them
• Give input on high-level architecture decisions and communicate those decisions
• Other duties determined by the company from time to time
