Senior Developer, Technical Consultant

Summary

Join Datacom as a Senior D365 X++ Developer and Technical Consultant in New Zealand. You will manage environments from Lifecycle Services, diagnose and debug environment issues, and manage the release of updates. As a developer, you will build and manage build and release pipelines, mentor other developers, and manage code release. Integration tasks include designing, documenting, and implementing integration architecture and solutions. Requirements

• Strong 6+ years of D365 F&O experience required (advantage would be an experience in Ax2012)
• Knowledge of SQL & OData
• Experience working on full cycle implementation of D365 F&O
• Experience working with Azure
• Skills and knowledge in DevOps (Project, Branches, Pipelines, Releases)
• Experience and knowledge in LCS (Update, upgrade, refresh DB, Project onboarding)
• Experience communicating effectively at all levels
• Good communication skills
• Strong analysis and design skills
• MB-300 Core exam, D365FO
• MB-500: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer

Responsibilities

• Manage environments from Lifecycle Services
• Manage database movements between environments
• Diagnose and debug environment issues
• Manage the release of updates through each customer environment
• Manage environment uptime in Azure subscription
• Manage deployment and updates to Cloud Hosted Developer environments
• Build and develop environment plans
• Understand and work with the change management processes
• Manage and support platform security
• Understand and manage the impact to users/processes when doing maintenance
• Manage the BYOD solutions
• Build and manage build and release pipelines for developed FinOps models
• Mentor and coach other developers in the use of DevOps
• Manage code release through branching strategies that align with the environment management plan
• Track and manage code deployment
• Design, document and implement integration architecture and solution designs
• Understand the data needing to be transformed and the events that require that data to be changed, and the dependencies between the components
• Understand the FinOps interfaces
• Where each interface is appropriate
• How to extend them with X++
• Build Azure Functions where required to plug gaps or reduce cost of the integrations
• Build and manage build and release pipelines for Azure resources using ARM templates
• Understand and work within security boundaries of the processes
• Understand and manage the impact of integration approach
• Understand, document and create BYOD solution
