Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior DevOps Engineer and contribute to building the next generation of Workforce Management for Deutsche Telekom Technology. You will be part of a team that builds, maintains, and secures scalable environments on AWS, oversees deployment and configuration of clusters, and collaborates with development teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of applications.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of English
• Strong knowledge of containerization and creation of Docker images
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Cloud Experience (preferably AWS)
• CI/CD Experience (creating Gitlab pipelines)
• Knowledge of test methodologies and best practices, including test automation best practices
• Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Acceptance Testing: Understanding different levels and types of testing

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure environment on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of clusters
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Close collaboration with development teams (Continuous Improvement)
• Maintan and adjust monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure
• Ensure that security best practices are followed, including managing access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and consistency across deployments and operations
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of application
• Ensuring application stability (Prod QA) - technical E2E Incident analyses/troubleshooting, cooperate on root cause analysis, troubleshooting & Ops Support

Preferred Qualifications

• German language knowledge
• Camunda and Workflow know how is a plus
