Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join iHerb as a Sr. DevOps Engineer and lead the implementation of systems like AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Flux. You will work on exciting automation projects and ensure system uptime. This role offers exposure to new technologies and global teams, allowing you to make an immediate impact. Collaborate with agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions. Oversee AWS and GCP environments and administer Linux, Windows, and K8s systems. Troubleshoot and deploy with development and security teams, creating automated pipelines for infrastructure creation and architecting new services and environments.

Requirements

• At least 5 plus years of experience in system administration or DevOps
• Writing scripts (Bash, Powershell, Python, Go …)
• Experience administrating Linux and Windows servers
• Experience supporting production K8s clusters
• Have deployed infrastructure on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure …)
• Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible, Flux …)
• Build and deployment pipelines (Jenkins, BitBucket, Harness, GitLab, Spinnaker …)
• Network troubleshooting fundamentals (traceroutes, DNS, TCP/IP, routing, LBs…)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
• Oversee AWS and GCP environments
• Administer Linux, Windows and K8s systems
• Work directly with development teams and security teams on troubleshooting and deployment
• Create automated pipelines for infrastructure creation
• Help architect new services and environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Worked with VMWare/VSphere
• Programing background (C, C++, Go, Java, Javascript, Rust)
• Experience with enterprise messaging and caching (RabbitMQ, Redis, Redpanda, Kafka)
