Senior DevOps Engineer

We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to own engagement with consulting teams, establish credibility through thought partnership, and communicate insights effectively. You will build and maintain relationships, guide junior team members, and contribute to content development. This role requires strong experience with various technologies, including Jenkins, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and AWS, along with hands-on experience in CI/CD and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning.

Requirements

• Experience with Jenkins (strong), Terraform (Strong), Azure DevOps (Strong), Kubernetes (Strong), and AWS
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD, deployment automation in Multi Cloud environment
• Extensive hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies (Containerization, Function as a Service) on leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
• Support application cloud infrastructure (hosted on AWS and Azure)
• Hands-on experience in standardizing development environments and automating delivery processes to improve delivery predictability, efficiency, security, and maintainability
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting, problem analysis, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and resolution
• Continuously acquire new technology skills (cloud, orchestration, infrastructure-as-a-code, SecOps, network, operating system, configuration management, monitoring, etc.) with a strong focus on DevOps principles
• Strong in solutioning with hands-on experience in DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and codify knowledge and provide appropriate technical advice where required
• Technical Skills: In Code Repository tools like GitHub
• Technical Skills: In CI/CD tools like CircleCI, Octopus deploy, Jenkins
• Technical Skills: Containerization (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, Flux, Customization)
• Technical Skills: Infrastructure automation using Terraform
• Technical Skills: Scripting skills to build error-free and secured automated deployments (shell, PowerShell, Python)
• Technical Skills: Cloud infra-architecture design (AWS/Azure) and deployment
• Technical Skills: Networking skills like setting VPC setup, API gateway, Load balancer, SSL setup, Traffic routing
• Technical Skills: Database- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL
• Technical Skills: Cloud security experience, including access management, network monitoring, and vulnerability management approaches
• Technical Skills: Application Performance Management (APM), Infrastructure Management using Enterprise Monitoring tools such as DataDog

Responsibilities

• Own all or part of engagement and integrating with consulting teams
• Establish credibility by thought partnering with highly demanding stakeholders/consulting teams on DevOps topics; drawing conclusions on a range of external and internal issues and dependencies
• Communicate insights through sophisticated synthesis and packaging of results (including PPT slides and charts) with stakeholders/consulting teams; collecting, synthesizing, learnings & inputs into new best practices and methodologies
• Ensure proper sign-off before uploading materials into internal repository for reference; sanitize confidential client content in marketing documents
• Build and sustain relationships with consulting MDPs to generate project work by self-leveraging regular connects
• Guide juniors on advanced software concepts and platforms, and helping in quality checks
• Contribute to the team's content & IP development

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Skills: GCP and GenAI knowledge is good to have
• Workable knowledge of: Databricks and Airflow
