Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior DevOps position in the iGaming market, preferably based in Portugal, Spain or Malta but open to remote candidates across Europe. The role involves improving system reliability, scalability, and performance, monitoring incidents, automating workflows, supporting development teams, and facilitating deployment of various applications and services.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working as a DevOps/SRE Engineer
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Proactive, driven and with the ability of working independently
• Extensive experience with Managing Linux servers (Apache and Nginx)
• CI/CD automation using Gitlab
• AWS and their cloud services (especially ECS, Fargate, RDS, S3, Cloudwatch)
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Containers (Dockers) and containers orchestration
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Scripting experience (preferably bash and/or python)

Responsibilities

• Continuously improving reliability, scalability and performance of all our systems and platforms
• Monitor, prevent and resolve incidents across the systems and assets
• Automate workflows to speed up project development
• Work closely with Dev teams supporting and optimizing deployments, configurations, incidents and CI/CD workflows
• Facilitate the development, containerization and deployment of traditional and headless WordPress applications, JavaScript and Laravel/PHP web applications, and API services
• Support in On-Call rotations
