Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

The company is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to work closely with developers, design and implement improved development processes and tools. The role involves working with a hybrid work model, using cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment. The technology stack includes AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD, Service Mesh (Istio), Kong API Gateway, CloudFront, Hashicorp Vault/Consul, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, Python, NodeJS, Go, Kotlin. Key responsibilities include developing and adopting new tools to make Development and Operations processes more efficient, collaborating with developers to optimize services performance, reliability, and scale, evolving and maintaining the AWS infrastructure, and participating in DevOps on-call shifts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as DevOps, working in a Linux environment and writing scripts in Python/Go/Ruby
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD, ArgoRollouts and understanding GitOps best practices)
• Good knowledge in networking concepts (Load Balancers, DNS, VPC)
• Experience with monitoring tools and log analytics
• Production experience with AWS & Kubernetes
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Terragrunt - advantage)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Graphite)
• Experience with large scale SaaS environment
• Development experience – Advantage
• Experience with Machine Learning processes – Advantage
• Experience with API Gateways and Serverless workloads – Advantage

Responsibilities

• Develop and adopt new tools to make Development and Operations processes more efficient
• Collaborate with developers to optimize services performance, reliability and scale
• Evolve and maintain client’s AWS infrastructure by improving and adopting new services
• Maintain company’s availability by participating in DevOps on-call shifts
