Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Junior DevOps Engineer focusing on Azure/AWS at a global cloud managed services provider. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure, automating deployment processes, monitoring issues, troubleshooting support tickets, and staying updated on best practices. Requirements include 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles, coding language familiarity, deep knowledge of AWS or Azure services, containerization technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands on experience in DevOps roles, on AWS or Azure cloud
• Familiar with at least one coding language
• Live and breath AWS or Azure services
• Develop, test and deploy secure, reliable, highly available, and scalable infrastructure using infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS cloud formation, Azure ARM template)
• Install, configure, maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like: Jenkins, AWS CodeDeploy scripts, Azure DevOps, GitHub action, and others
• Deep Knowledge and Experience of Containerization Technologies, Docker, and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure/AWS infrastructure
• Implement and automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor issues related to infrastructure, applications, and deployments
• Troubleshoot support tickets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience running applications at scale on modern cloud-native architectures
• Managed monitoring systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, DataDog, and others
• Working on a wide variety of Cloud projects (migration, containerization, cloud modernization)
