Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join Xero's growing Tax team as an Infrastructure Engineer and play a key role in supporting product development. You will leverage your AWS and CI/CD expertise to guide engineers, automate infrastructure tasks, and build a robust, scalable environment for our tax product. This position requires strong AWS experience, coding/scripting skills, and experience supporting multiple development teams. Requirements

• Strong AWS experience in a high-availability environment
• Coding/scripting experience (e.g., Kotlin, Terraform)
• Experience supporting multiple development teams
• Understanding of release processes (e.g., blue/green deployments, canary releases)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure
• Guide teams on best practices, automate deployments, and improve release processes
• Identify opportunities to enhance infrastructure and optimise performance
• Coach engineers on infrastructure concepts and best practices
