Summary
Join Red Cell Partners' DEFCON AI as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer and play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting mission-critical systems. You will deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure on AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and security. Responsibilities include providing technical support, managing Kubernetes clusters, developing infrastructure as code, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices. Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 5 equivalent years of experience
- Proven experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc
- Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, including cluster setup, management, troubleshooting, and helm charts
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for deployed applications and infrastructure on AWS, AWS GovCloud, and third-party hosting
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and containerized applications
- Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for deployment and operations
- Administer tools and services essential to development and operations
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements as needed
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Provide on-call support as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a defense or aerospace environment
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud)
- Previous experience with AWS GovCloud, specifically
- Active Secret Military Clearance (Not Required)
