Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Raft, a customer-focused small business specializing in Distributed Data Systems, Platforms at Scale, and Complex Application Development. The role involves leading the development of end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, collaborating with clients on Kubernetes or Docker solutions, and driving efficient software updates.

Requirements

• 5-6 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Docker
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud technologies
• Deep understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
• Advanced networking experience
• Experience with managing Service-Mesh, like Istio
• In-depth knowledge of version control systems like Gitlab
• Extensive experience in software systems development through CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
• Collaborate with clients, guiding in the design and execution of Kubernetes or Docker solutions
• Take a leading role in constructing CI/CD pipelines, driving efficient delivery of software updates

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in writing custom Helm Charts
• Experience with Big Data platforms like Kafka or Hadoop
• Advanced programming skills in multiple languages
• Certifications such as CKA or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
