Senior DevSecOps/Platform Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Sr. DevOps/Lead Platform/DevSecOps Engineer! Lead a team, drive best practices, and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams. This hybrid role (remote options for US and European candidates) requires 8+ years of experience and strong development skills beyond scripting. You will need a customer-centric mindset and experience leading teams in customer projects. The position demands expertise in cloud deployments, platform engineering, and DevSecOps, along with strong soft skills. This is a strategic and technical role focused on continuous improvement and automation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Very Strong development background (not just Bash & PowerShell—must be comfortable writing actual application logic)
• Strong understanding of cloud and production grade deployments
• Experience in platform engineering for IDPs and DevSecOps-focused platforms
• Strong soft skills, with experience in leading teams, stakeholder engagement, and driving engineering best practices
• Familiarity with Shift-Left Security and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
• Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning
• GitLab CI/CD experience, including creating secure and scalable pipelines
• Multi-cloud experience (Azure required, AWS a plus)
• Customer interfacing is required; overlap with customer timezone (UK) will be needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and Policy as Code expertise (OPA)
• Experience or Familiarity with wiz.io
