Summary

Join our team of innovators as we revolutionize the sports industry with cutting-edge technology. We're seeking a Senior Engineering Director to lead our Hardware team in building the next generation of software-enabled cameras and wearables.

Requirements

  • Experience building complex hardware solutions with a minimum of 15 years of industry experience in hardware engineering and product development
  • Formal education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field (or comparable experience)
  • Cross-functional relationship builder with experience building strong partnerships with Product, Sales, Marketing, Support and other departments
  • Formal leadership experience with direct management of a team of at least a dozen Engineers
  • Domain knowledge: Worked on IoT devices (similar to wearable technology and camera systems)
  • Subject matter expertise: Strong understanding of electronics design, firmware development, and manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

  • Coach Engineers and Engineering Managers
  • Solve problems collaboratively with product squads to deliver the best solutions
  • Drive operational excellence through efficient manufacturing processes and high-quality product delivery
  • Deliver great user value by helping customers do something they love

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-level leadership experience with indirect reports
  • Applicable industry background in sports technology or another transferable industry (bonus points for knowledge of video streaming technologies and protocols, data analytics, and machine learning applications in sports)
  • Consumer electronics expertise with experience building wearable technology and/or camera systems
  • Global scale experience creating products for customers in multiple regions
