Summary
Join Experian as a Director to lead the development of a modular security platform and drive security-by-design initiatives. You will ensure operational resilience, compliance, and scalable secure product delivery by collaborating with various teams. Lead the platform roadmap, resolve overlapping capabilities, and increase adoption across regions and departments. Define and lead the vision and roadmap for the modular security platform, aligning with company strategy, customer needs, and market trends. Deliver security capabilities as reusable services and champion a modular architecture. This remote, supervisory role reports to the Group CTO.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience in security, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS platforms
- Experience with modular platform design, APIs, and cloud-native architectures
- Experience launching and scaling complex technical products
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
- Experience working in Agile development environments
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the vision and roadmap for our modular security platform, aligning with company strategy, customer needs, and market trends
- Deliver security capabilities as reusable services , including identity, access control, threat detection, and compliance, through self-service APIs
- Champion a modular architecture that enables plug-and-play security components and seamless integration across platforms like Cloud, DevEx, and ITSM
- Embed and govern Super Controls as mandatory platform standards, integrating with CI/CD and policy-as-code frameworks
- Translate partner insights into product requirements , collaborating with global teams to ensure customer-centric development
- Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform product strategy and maintain a forward-looking perspective
- Define and track Goals to measure product success and guide continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM), zero trust, or threat intelligence platforms
- Background in developer platforms or B2B security tools
- Experience building security into cloud-native, developer-centric ecosystems (e.g., integrating IAM, WAF, SIEM into DevEx and CI/CD platforms)
- Familiarity with policy-as-code, infrastructure-as-code, and resilience-by-design frameworks (e.g., chaos engineering, SLOs)
