Requirements
- Have 4+ years of experience in the finance industry focusing on quality for card and ACH transaction disputes
- Have a strong understanding of Reg E dispute requirements
- Have familiarity with Mastercard and/or Visa chargeback rules
- Be a highly motivated self-starter, comfortable working within a high risk environment under minimal supervision
- Have some product sense and knowledge of banking products such as ACH, International Wires, SWIFT, checks, and debit cards
- Exercise empathy and understanding when communicating with team members
- Communicate complicated concepts with efficiency and clarity
- Be curious about the US banking system, startups, and ecommerce companies
Responsibilities
- Complete manual quality assessments of dispute resolution processes, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Create quality dashboards and trend reports
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on quality assessments to drive continuous improvement across the dispute program
- Drive quality calibration with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in the development, refinement, and operationalization of dispute quality processes and procedures
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, compliance regulations, and internal policy changes to ensure quality standards are met
- Participates in special projects, internal audits, and process improvements in support of quality control initiatives
