Summary

The job is for a Senior Distance/eLearning Design Specialist in the Intelligence area based on-site in Washington DC with an active TS/SCI clearance. The role involves designing e-learning courses, creating storyboards, developing job aids, and other learning deliverables.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Minimum of six (6) years' experience without an appropriate degree and practical-level knowledge and expertise of instructional design processes and terminology related to distance/eLearning

Responsibilities

• Provide e-Learning instructional systems design services to create blended and online courseware or templates for virtual classroom environments
• Apply knowledge of education principles and distance learning concepts, graphic design, and electronic teaching techniques to determine the subject matter, goals, length, approach, and instructional media that can be most effective in accordance with customer requirements
• Follow ADDIE instructional systems design process to develop an instructional/design plan, storyboards, and final eLearning products
• Test courseware products in the learning management system test environment
• Apply knowledge and expertise of Blackboard and Captivate or other appropriate eLearning devices and applications

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in appropriate field (e.g., Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning/Andragogy) from an accredited college or university and 2 years experience working with distance/eLearning training programs
