Senior EDI Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Software Engineer at Prompt Therapy Solutions, Inc. Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in developing EDI software solutions from scratch, specifically within the healthcare sector
• Strong familiarity with 837, 277, 999, and 835 EDI transactions
• Knowledge of HL7 standards
• Proficiency in PHP or a comparable programming language, with a willingness to learn new languages as needed

Responsibilities

• Transition ANSI EDI code from current language to another
• Design and implement software solutions for transmitting millions of ANSI EDI messages monthly
• Maintain code set and perform daily custom EDI modifications engineering tickets
• Balance adding to the infrastructure/code set to add features to allow our users to build out their own EDI custom rules while also engineering one-off rules site by site as needed/daily once live
• Develop and maintain systems that meet stringent healthcare industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and frameworks
• Ensure compliance with all relevant EDI protocols
• Adapt and transition between programming languages and technologies as required
