We are developing a solution for capturing CO₂ directly from ambient air using innovative electrochemical methods, with a focus on providing greenhouses with sustainable CO₂. You will design and conduct electrochemical experiments, develop and optimize electrochemical systems, analyze results, and suggest design improvements. The role also involves developing and testing new materials, supervising junior researchers, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to scientific publications and patent filings. We offer official employment with a competitive salary, work on cutting-edge R&D projects, a flexible work environment (Kyiv office or remote), and opportunities for professional development.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of electrochemistry
  • 2+ years of experience in research or R&D
  • Familiarity with ion exchange membranes, buffer systems, and flow-cell design
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as power supplies, potentiostats, pH meters, gas analyzers, etc
  • Ability to work with scientific publications (Intermediate English or higher)
  • High motivation to develop and implement innovative solutions

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct electrochemical experiments, including pH-swing processes in carbonate-based solutions
  • Develop and optimize electrochemical systems tailored to performance goals
  • Analyze results and suggest design improvements to enhance system efficiency
  • Develop and test new materials for electrodes, membranes, and electrolytes
  • Supervise junior researchers and lab technicians
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (chemists, engineers, and product developers)
  • Contribute to scientific publications, patent filings, and grant applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • (PhD is a plus, but not required if backed by relevant hands-on experience.)
  • (Previous work with pH-swing systems or CO₂ capture is a strong advantage.)

Benefits

  • Official employment with a competitive salary
