Summary

Join Trace3 as a Sr. Engagement Manager and lead sales campaigns, overseeing projects from contract signing to successful delivery. You will build stakeholder relationships, develop sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage project delivery to ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities include defining success metrics, managing sales pipelines, and collaborating on strategic initiatives. You will also track sales metrics, prepare reports, and meet sales quotas. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least 5 years’ experience in developing client relationships or account management is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience working for a technology or consulting company strongly preferred
  • Strong financial and business acumen with understanding of a multi-faceted business operation
  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative in successfully driving specialty sales in accounts - prospecting, negotiating and closing deals
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels
  • Excellent conflict resolution and/or mediation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, and manage multiple projects. Ability to meet stated customer-initiated deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales campaigns in both product and service capacity, all the way from contract signature to successful delivery of the project in terms of scope, deliverables, budget, client satisfaction, and achievement of required business outcomes
  • Work throughout the project lifecycle, from presales to final delivery, to validate that each solution is properly scoped, designed, implemented and tested to meet client’s business needs
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders – Develop trusted partnerships with senior leaders, project sponsors, and business units within the domain to understand their objectives and priorities
  • Serve as a liaison – Act as the primary point of contact for business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment of business goals and technical solutions
  • Define success metrics – Collaborate with stakeholders to define success criteria for both strategic initiatives and sales targets
  • Develop and execute sales strategies**: Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the domain, driving new business and expanding existing accounts
  • Upsell and cross-sell – Leverage deep understanding of the domain to recommend additional products, services, and solutions that align with customer goals
  • Pipeline management – Build, maintain, and forecast an accurate sales pipeline, tracking potential deals from prospecting to close
  • Negotiate contracts – Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions to secure new business while ensuring alignment with both client needs and company profitability goals
  • Manage partner agreements process with Trace3 Review current agreements in place, if applicable
  • If additional agreements are required, engage the appropriate Trace3 team to initiate process
  • Act as Partner & Trace3 liaison throughout the agreement process to manage action items between Trace3 & Partner
  • Oversee project delivery to ensure Client & Stakeholder satisfaction
  • Drive Partner Resource assignment in a timely manner
  • When applicable, Review Change Orders, and process internally
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives – Partner with domain leaders to create and execute short-term and long-term strategies that align with both sales objectives and business goals
  • Create domain-specific roadmaps – Develop actionable project plans and sales strategies, defining key milestones, timelines, and revenue targets
  • Align technology and sales efforts with business needs – Ensure that product and service offerings address business requirements and are positioned to generate additional revenue
  • Ownership of the execution of strategic projects – Manage both technical and sales-related projects to ensure they are on track and delivering measurable outcomes
  • Coordinate with project teams – Work closely with project managers, engineering, and sales teams to deliver solutions that meet both business and revenue goals
  • Risk management and mitigation – Identify potential risks to both project execution and sales success, and work with internal teams to resolve them
  • Track and report on sales metrics – Monitor revenue growth, sales performance, and market penetration, providing actionable insights and reporting to leadership
  • Prepare client proposals and sales reports – Present custom-tailored proposals, progress reports, and sales forecasts to clients and senior stakeholders
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas – Consistently meet revenue targets and performance KPIs related to both strategic engagement and sales growth
  • Advocate for domain needs – Represent the interests of the domain both internally and externally, ensuring that its strategic goals are prioritized in product development, sales, and resource allocation
  • Deliver regular progress updates – Provide detailed updates on both project performance and sales growth, sharing insights on market opportunities and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with internal teams –Work closely with sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure the success of strategic projects and sales opportunities
  • Align cross-functional efforts – Foster collaboration between departments to support domain initiatives and ensure that technical and sales objectives are met
  • Escalate critical issues – Proactively escalate sales or technical challenges when necessary, facilitating resolutions across relevant teams
