Senior Engineer

Summary

Join our team of innovators as a Senior Software Engineer with deep computer vision expertise to collaborate closely with our Machine Learning team, and contribute significantly to the evolution of our AI-powered cameras.

Requirements

• Experience in computer vision and embedded systems
• Technology proficiency with image processing, video manipulation, multi-camera systems, and optimization on edge platforms like NVIDIA, Qualcomm or Ambarella
• Cross-functional ability to bring complex features to production, and have a track record of working closely with Data Scientists and other stakeholders
• Analytical skills to apply rigorous and scientific methodologies to develop algorithms, testing and validating them to ensure high-quality outputs

Responsibilities

• Work on a range of technologies including image quality optimization; multi-camera calibration and stitching; 3D projection; object detection and tracking; AI models integration in hardware (currently NVIDIA Jetson); and video rendering and encoding
• Develop computer vision algorithms for Hudl's smart Focus cameras
• Collaborate with the Machine Learning team to integrate and fine tune edge AI models, such as object detection and tracking
• Improve image quality through sensor and lens assessments and ISP tuning, and optimize software performance for embedded platforms, focusing on timing and power consumption budgets

Preferred Qualifications

• Hardware know-how for performance improvements
• Machine learning expertise to train, test and deploy object detection and tracking algorithms based on ML
• Familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson, Jetpack and GStreamer/Deepstream
