Senior Engineer Developer Relations, Remote - Asia

Summary

The job is for an engineer on the Developer Relations team at the Sui Foundation, responsible for supporting the development and adoption of the Sui blockchain by engaging with the developer community, providing technical guidance, and creating training materials. The role requires 7+ years of Software Engineering or DevRel Engineering experience, strong communication skills, a good understanding of developer profiles, markets, and trends within Europe, and is based in APAC.

Requirements

• Based in APAC
• 7+ years of Software Engineering or combination of Software and DevRel Engineering experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interest in Web3
• Good understanding of developer profiles, developer markets and trends within Europe, gained either through developer-facing work experience or personal intuition

Responsibilities

• Understand the community's goals, and provide technical expertise and direction to help developers navigate their journey of building on Sui
• Create and own the feedback loop between the community and the network
• Translate developer feedback into meaningful product insights for future product development
• Develop and deliver remote and in-person training sessions and workshops for new and existing Sui developers

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior DevRel experience, or related developer-facing function (e.g. Solutions Engineering)
• Experience with blockchain, cryptography and/or Web3 engineering
• Experience with Move and/or Rust programming language(s)
