Senior Engineering Manager - DevOps & Infrastructure

Requirements

• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining SaaS products for >7 years
• Significant software experience around modern infrastructure technologies: container orchestration frameworks, infrastructure as code
• Significant experience in deployment within one of the major Cloud Service Providers
• Proven track record managing and leading software engineers
• Proficiency evaluating and organizing technical work accurately
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a small team / rapid prototyping environment and deal with uncertainty

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers, including actively participating in planning, prioritizing, designing, implementing and reviewing activities
• Contribute technically to projects and products
• Work closely with other engineering teams and product managers

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in designing and maintaining large-scale data enrichment pipelines
• Competence in one or more of the following practices: Cryptography, Networking, Data-analysis / ML
• Experience with the Bazel build system
• Experience with Kafka in production
