Join Unity as a Senior Engineering Program Manager and coordinate the delivery of programs shaping our strategic roadmap for next-generation platforms like web browsers, Linux, and embedded systems. Requirements

  • Have software project/program management experience, working closely with engineering and non-technical teams to facilitate successful delivery of features and products
  • Have a track record of delivering against contractual obligations and managing external relationships
  • Demonstrate success working with globally dispersed teams across time zones
  • Have experience managing process and organizational change, working to evolve the current of embedded habits rather than fighting against it
  • Focus on establishing relationships, maintaining a positive culture, and optimizing communications tailored to a variety of audiences and stakeholders
  • Have a sufficient knowledge of English to have professional verbal and written exchanges in this language

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with engineering and product managers to build and execute against a clear roadmap that balances feature development goals, multiple partner commitments, and operational improvements
  • Use effective communication, tools, and program management strategies so teams stay on-track, goals are met, and internal and external partners have the information they need
  • Iterate on existing processes and methodologies, or develop solutions where none exist, to improve our velocity, collaboration, and visibility while being respectful of what came before
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with change, and adeptly handle any conflicts that arise
  • Design and deliver training programs to support teams in adopting new processes and tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have a passion for the future of computer games or real-time 3D experiences in a variety of settings
  • Have literacy and proven experience with Kanban, Scrum, Waterfall, and other development methodologies
  • Have proficiency using tools such as Jira, Fogbugz, Favro, Trello, Miro, and Confluence
