Senior Finance Associate

Summary

The Senior Finance Associate role at the Sui Foundation involves overseeing accounting operations, managing budgets, driving regulatory filings, supervising service provider relationships, and cross-functional collaboration on critical projects. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of finance experience in assurance, consulting, fintech or crypto, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field, CPA and/or Public Accounting experience preferred, strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations, outstanding organizational and analytical skills, ability to work independently and on a team, asynchronously, proficient with ERP software, preferably NetSuite, proficient with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and working with large data sets, and financial modeling experience a plus.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of finance experience in assurance, consulting, fintech or crypto
• CPA and/or Public Accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations
• Ability to plan for accounting and tax implications of future operations and provide recommendations
• Creative thinker with the ability to solve problems in ambiguous situations or with imperfect information
• Outstanding organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good attitude
• Ability to work independently and on a team, asynchronously
• Proficient with ERP software, preferably NetSuite
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and working with large data sets

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP, operational accounting, and related processes
• Maintain budgets and lead monthly reviews
• Drive financial and regulatory filing initiatives (state and federal)
• Supervise relationships with key service providers
• Project manage advisor and vendor engagements
• Work cross-functionally on critical operational projects
• Improve and automate finance and ops processes
• Lead finance and treasury reconciliations

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial modeling experience a plus
• SQL experience a plus
