Senior Front End Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Front-End Engineer to lead the design and development of an AI-powered Document Generation product, collaborating with various teams to build innovative user-facing features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Next.js/React or Nuxt.js/Vue and their core principles
• Familiarity with EcmaScript (ES6+) and newer specifications
• Strong knowledge of CSS (Flexbox, Grid) and modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind (preferred), Bootstrap or Material-UI
• Experience with frontend build tools like Webpack, Vite, esbuild, tsc, and SWC
• Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong grasp of UX and design principles
• Leadership skills and experience mentoring junior developers

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of user-facing features
• Translate intricate designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable, and efficient code
• Optimize components for peak performance across diverse web-capable devices and browsers
• Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining code quality
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed features
• Make day-to-day engineering decisions based on complex business requirements and contexts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with front-end testing frameworks like Vitest, Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or tRPC
• Familiarity with Tanstack Query (knowledge of Tanstack Table is a plus)
• Experience with server-side rendering techniques and frameworks like Next.js or Remix
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks like Lighthouse or Webpagetest
• Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies like Docker
• Understanding of accessibility (a11y) best practices
• Experience with responsive design and developing for multiple devices and layouts
• Familiarity with design systems and tools like Storybook
