Join PlaytestCloud's engineering team as a Senior Front End Software Engineer - Angular! You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to build intuitive user interfaces using Angular. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Front End Software Engineer or similar role, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • Extensive experience in Angular development, with expertise in building robust and scalable web applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, product-oriented mindset
  • You have proven success in remote work, demonstrating productivity and strong communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in CSS, design, and UX/UI development, with a focus on creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
  • Familiarity with integrating APIs into front-end applications
  • Experience working with long-standing codebases, improving and adapting them to meet modern standards while maintaining performance, stability, and scalability over time
  • Strong understanding of Git
  • Previous experience in Agile / Scrum environments
  • You are located within Β±2 hours of the Berlin time zone (CET)

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with product, design and other engineers to bring new features to the world
  • Craft thoughtful, efficient, and tested frontend code using Angular
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend seamlessly with a Ruby on Rails backend
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement β€” simplifying, refactoring, or enhancing existing solutions to keep the codebase evolving
  • Maintain and upgrade Angular, NPM packages, and build tools, keeping the tech stack modern and efficient
  • Contribute to a healthy codebase through meaningful code reviews, promoting consistency and encouraging knowledge sharing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full-stack experience (bonus points for Ruby on Rails!)
  • Proficiency in Webpack, with the ability to configure and optimize complex front-end builds
  • Experience with SCSS for creating modular and maintainable styles
  • Experience with handling complex business logic and working on large, intricate forms or applications
  • Experience in debugging and optimizing performance for front-end applications
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with other modern frontend frameworks in addition to Angular
