Senior Front-End Developer

Summary

Join Apex Logic as a Sr. Front-End Developer and contribute to the development of the Symphony Procurement Suite, a cloud-based procurement environment used by government agencies. You will be responsible for developing new front-end features, improving existing applications, writing Angular code within a Java project, and ensuring high-quality software. This role requires extensive experience in Angular development, along with proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and various testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAAS products and will need to pass a Moderate Public Trust background check. Requirements

• 8+ Years Front-End Angular development experience
• Experience writing Angular code that can nest within a Java project
• HTML, Typescript, and CSS experience including flexbox and responsive layout design
• Experience with NgRx state management and using actions/reducers/selectors
• RxJS experience using observables and operators
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews and pull requests
• Knowledge of web-based services, database interaction, software architectures, languages, and tools
• Familiarity with 508 compliance
• Experience with Unit/E2E testing and Cypress testing framework
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must comply with all “drug free workplace” requirements as mandated by directives issued by the appropriate federal contracting officer and the company, which requires drug testing for use of illegal drugs by employees in sensitive positions
• Must be able pass Moderate Public Trust, US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Develop new Front-End features and make improvements to existing applications
• Write Angular code that can nest within a Java project
• Write efficient, maintainable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code
• Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate issues with front-end code
• Provide code performance analysis and optimizing the existing code base
• Fix bugs and work with the QA team to ensure software is high quality
