Senior Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join Argent, a leading crypto company, as a Senior Frontend Engineer and contribute to the development of ArgentX, the leading wallet for Starknet. You will design, develop, and architect web-based applications, ensuring high usability, security, and maintainability. This role involves working on a new mobile experience, translating ArgentX's best-in-class UX into a cutting-edge mobile application. You'll be part of a collaborative, senior team working remotely across Europe with flexibility and autonomy. Requirements

• 5+ years experience developing solutions in Javascript/Typescript
• 2+ years of experience building cross-platform mobile apps with React Native, from concept to deployment
• Experience at building consumer-facing web decentralized apps (Dapps) in React with a keen sensitivity to design, showcasing an eye for aesthetic and user-centric design principles
• Good knowledge of blockchain specific libraries (e.g. ethers.js, web3.js)
• At ease with design and architecture of software and systems (e.g. Design Patterns, Secure Software Development)
• Experience with agile methodologies and software development tooling and processes

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and architect web-based applications
• Take ownership of an application development lifecycle and quickly ship features
• Ensure our software meets our strong requirements in terms of usability, security, availability and long term maintainability
• Build POC and MVP, i.e. work in an environment where product requirements are not fully defined
• You will get to work on a brand new project where you'll help translate ArgentX’s best-in-class UX into a cutting-edge mobile experience

Preferred Qualifications

• MSc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• React best practices and design patterns (MVC, Flux, Redux,..)
• Good knowledge of Starknet technologies, experinece with starknet.js
• Open source software and contribution
