Senior Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join Argent, a leading crypto company, as a Senior Frontend Engineer and contribute to the development of ArgentX, the leading wallet for Starknet. You will design, develop, and architect cross-platform web and React Native applications, ensuring high usability, security, and maintainability. This role involves taking ownership of the application development lifecycle, building POCs and MVPs, and translating ArgentX's UX into a cutting-edge mobile experience. The position requires 5+ years of Javascript/Typescript experience and 2+ years of React Native mobile app development. Requirements

• 5+ years experience developing solutions in Javascript/Typescript
• 2+ years of experience building cross-platform mobile apps with React Native, from concept to deployment
• Experience at building consumer-facing web decentralized apps (Dapps) in React with a keen sensitivity to design, showcasing an eye for aesthetic and user-centric design principles
• Good knowledge of blockchain specific libraries (e.g. ethers.js, web3.js)
• At ease with design and architecture of software and systems (e.g. Design Patterns, Secure Software Development)
• Experience with agile methodologies and software development tooling and processes

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and architect cross-platform web and React Native applications
• Take ownership of an application development lifecycle and quickly ship features
• Ensure our software meets our strong requirements in terms of usability, security, availability and long term maintainability
• Build POC and MVP, i.e. work in an environment where product requirements are not fully defined
• You will get to work on a brand new project where you'll help translate ArgentX’s best-in-class UX into a cutting-edge mobile experience

Preferred Qualifications

• MSc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• React best practices and design patterns (MVC, Flux, Redux,..)
• Good knowledge of Starknet technologies, experience with starknet.js
• Open source software and contribution
