Summary

The job is for a remote DataViz team member in Grafana's Frontend Team. The role involves working on data visualization panels and contributing to the overall direction of data visualization and observability at Grafana Labs. Requirements

• Comfortable working in a remote-first company
• Experience as a front-end developer
• Proficient in data transformation and visualization (eg SQL, Pivot Tables, D3.js, Matplotlib or Jupyter Notebooks)
• Understanding of a software development process that takes a user-centred approach
• Able to build an understanding of the user’s context and goals
• Able to transform ideas into working code
• Self-driven individual who understands the power of feedback loops
• Able to communicate design decisions clearly in written and spoken English
• Enjoys working on complex solutions
• Active interest in the three observability pillars (Metrics, Logs and Traces) and how they come together to build a powerful workflow
• Familiar with being on-call and performing operations tasks like version checking and rollbacks
