Senior Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS) as a Frontend Engineer and contribute to the development of travel portals for major brands. You will architect, optimize, and scale our next-generation platform, working on lodging, car, and packaging solutions. This role requires deep expertise in React and related technologies, along with experience in building scalable, high-performance systems. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to shape the architecture and work in a fast-paced, low-process environment. Requirements

• Deep expertise in React (functional components, hooks, performance optimizations, server-side rendering, hydration, and advanced state management)
• Extensive experience with complex state management (React Context, Redux, Zustand, or similar)
• Advanced CSS knowledge (SCSS, CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, animations, and handling browser quirks)
• Proficiency in TypeScript , with experience developing and maintaining enterprise-scale applications
• Experience optimizing frontend performance (lazy loading, code-splitting, caching strategies, Lighthouse optimizations, etc.)
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and how to design scalable, maintainable systems
• Familiarity with SSR and static site generation (e.g., Next.js ) for SEO-friendly experiences
• Experience working with backend APIs (GraphQL, REST) and handling data-fetching strategies efficiently
• A passion for writing testable code —knowing what to test, what not to test, and what kinds of tests matter in front-end applications

• Work with a group of top-tier engineers in a low-process environment powered by trust and autonomy
• Drive decisions and consensus asynchronously with thoughtful documentation
• Ship fast. Learn fast. Repeat. Build new features from top to bottom…from UX to database
• Architect scalable front-end solutions that allow us to efficiently launch new portals
• Work directly with PMs and business partners to help define and refine our roadmap. Your voice matters
• Collaborate cross-functionally with a diverse group of people, giving and receiving feedback for growth

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with backend systems and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, etc.)
