Join Supermetrics' Customer Growth team as a Senior Frontend Engineer in Helsinki or remotely from Finland, Ireland, UK, Spain, Lithuania, Poland, or Portugal. This mission-critical role focuses on enhancing purchasing flows, improving subscription management, and guiding customers through their Supermetrics journey. You will develop user interfaces, manage new initiatives, collaborate with backend engineers and designers, participate in code reviews, mentor colleagues, and optimize user experience. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of front-end development experience with React and TypeScript, expertise in UI creation, testing, web security, and accessibility, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- 5+ years of front-end development experience, with an extensive focus on React and TypeScript
- Proficient in creating complex UIs with a deep understanding of user experience
- Extensive experience with all parts of the testing pyramid, especially component testing
- Knowledge of web security best practices, to ensure the safety of our customers' data
- Proficiency in web performance best practices minimizing resource usage, and ensuring a smooth user experience
- Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines like WCAG, to provide high-quality support to all of our customers
- Proficiency in Front-end toolings like package managers, linters, build tooling and testing libraries
- Fluent communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and collaborate effectively with team members
- Experience solving some complex technical problems and won't run out of ideas on how to improve our product
Responsibilities
- Working on our purchasing flows to showcase the value of the product, improve conversion rates, grow ARR and improve customer stickiness
- Improving user experience related to subscription management β allowing customers to modify their subscriptions along their journey to best fit their needs
- Guiding the customers across their journey with Supermetrics : from trialing the product to the first purchase and supporting them further
- Developing the user interfaces of our products, ensuring a seamless user experience
- Managing and planning new initiatives and features
- Close collaboration and interaction with backend engineers and designers
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
- Mentor and share knowledge with your colleagues
- Optimize the user experience by improving load times, and ensuring smooth interaction
- Use, evolve, and collaborate on improvements to our design system
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with backend development (PHP) to understand full-stack product needs
- Experience with Vue.js, Playwright, Datadog Grafana, and GitHub Actions
- Former exposure to billing and purchasing
- Interest in how to leverage AI to optimize development and other everyday tasks
