Senior Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join Wolt's Payments Platform team as a Frontend Software Developer and build world-class payment infrastructure for our web app. You'll be part of a new, cross-functional team owning the end-to-end payment UX, from checkout to external app authentication. This role offers a significant opportunity to shape the team's roadmap and tech choices, building user-facing features that directly impact millions of customers. The team is based in Stockholm, Helsinki, or Tallinn, with a fully remote option available in Sweden, Finland, Estonia, or Germany. You'll work with modern technologies like React, Typescript, and more, contributing to a fast-growing, internationally operating company.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Build world-class payment infrastructure on the web app
• Own the end-to-end payment UX, from users choosing a payment on checkout to users switching to external apps for authentications
• Build product features end-to-end both within the team and in collaboration with other product and engineering teams
• Contribute to the team's roadmap, tech choices, and ways of working
• Build all kinds of cool payments-related, user-facing features that will directly impact Wolt users’ customer experience
• Implement purchase order designs for checkout
• Integrate SDKs of new payment methods across our 30 countries
• Implement payment and fraud solutions on Wolt’s checkout
• Ensure that other quickly growing teams at Wolt can readily use payments based on their needs (i.e. multi-payment, bill-splitting, tipping, top ups, recurring payments, two-factor authentication on demand, etc)
