Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Requirements

• Experienced in developing front-end based on RESTful APIs, collaborating with back-end teams to create mocks, define payloads, and follow the HTTP best practices
• Experience with the ReactJS ecosystem
• Experience with automated, unit, and behavioral testing of react components
• Experience in implementing prototypes and in practices and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for rolling out features to production
• Software quality and test automation mindset
• Experience with monitoring and observability
• Experience with developing thinking about accessibility principles
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
• Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese
• Good understanding of how a browser works behind the scenes
• Focus on Making things right and better at every opportunity
• Prior experience with React.js, or Vue.js, or Angular, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver solutions working with a cross-functional team
• Help drive the frontend architecture of our platform using state-of-the-art tech
• Influence B2B and B2C checkout conversion around the globe, by implementing new payment mechanisms and improving/maintaining existing ones
• Write maintainable code and tests
• Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in the production environment, as well as in writing useful and critical post-mortems
• Help and mentor other developers
• Ensure high-quality code using best practices such as code review and pair programming
