Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Join Nearform as a Senior Frontend Engineer in a full-time, one-year contract (with potential extensions) remote position based in Brazil. You will design and build applications using React and Typescript, collaborating with distributed teams on various projects. Requirements

• Significant experience delivering at a Senior Engineer level
• Our Seniors typically have at least 6 years’ commercial experience
• Practical experience of delivering in an agile environment
• Practical experience and knowledge of developing real-world solutions
• Deep knowledge of the JavaScript language and frameworks, which must include React
• Deep knowledge of the TypeScript
• Deep understanding of versioning control tools - e.g. Git
• Testing experience and familiarity with testing tools at all levels, unit, integration and end to end testing
• Practical and real-world experience working in cloud-based environments
• Experience building software collaboratively using pull requests and code reviews
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Professional proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Support component design, development and maintenance and take responsibility for personal technical quality standards within the project team
• Assist with defining structured practices, especially in source code management, building and deployment
• Optimise performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Get feedback from users and clients, and build solutions for them
• Assist with the analysis of client requirements
• Work with and support Technical Leaders in project execution and timely delivery
• Collaborate with client teams
