Senior Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Join Calendly's Engineering team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and contribute to the scaling and improvement of our platform. You will collaborate with a team to build new features for enterprise customers, contribute to platform scaling initiatives, and work with various technologies like Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes. This role requires 7+ years of software development experience, expertise in service-oriented architectures, and experience with monolith-to-services architectural rebuilds. You will be responsible for mentoring team members and participating in on-call rotations. Requirements

• 7+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company
• Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) (microservices)
• Experience with a Monolith to Services architectural rebuild
• Experience with Node or a comparable web-app development framework
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and propose new solutions or improvements that align with organizational goals
• Ability to adapt to new technologies, changing requirements, and evolving organizational needs
• A drive to craft clean, reliable and maintainable code
• Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within your team to build new features that are targeted at our highest impact enterprise customers
• Contribute to platform scaling initiatives
• Meet regularly with Product and Design to fine tune requirements
• Attend agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it done
• Work across squads to improve Engineering practices at Calendly
• Review implementation plans and pull requests from your peers
• Mentor and coach other team members

• Tier 2 Salary: $158,400 — $237,600 USD
• Tier 3 Salary: $144,000 — $216,000 USD
