Senior Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Join Calendly's Engineering team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and contribute to the development and scaling of our platform. You will collaborate with a team to build new features for enterprise customers, participate in platform scaling initiatives, and work with various technologies like Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and more. The role involves contributing to the improvement of engineering practices, reviewing code, and mentoring team members. You will need 7+ years of software development experience in a SaaS environment, experience with Service Oriented Architectures (microservices), and proficiency in Typescript, Node, or a comparable framework. Requirements

• 7+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company
• Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) (microservices)
• Experience with Typescript, Node, or a comparable web-app development framework; bonus points if you also have experience with C++
• A drive to craft clean, reliable and maintainable code
• Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Responsibilities

• Collaborating within your team to build new features that are targeted at our highest impact enterprise customers
• Contributing to platform scaling initiatives
• Meeting regularly with Product and Design to fine tune requirements
• Attending agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it done
• Working across squads to improve Engineering practices at Calendly
• Reviewing implementation plans and pull requests from your peers
• Mentoring and coaching other team members
