Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Full Stack Developer, you will build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable components and applications within an AWS environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring system security and data protection. Champion quality architecture and code, implementing best practices and mentoring junior developers. This senior engineering role requires autonomy, problem-solving skills, and teamwork within a remote, distributed team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full stack web development
• Experience with common AWS services and maintaining infrastructure in the cloud (DevOps, CI/CD, etc.)
• Strong React experience
• Strong understanding of RESTful & GraphQL API design principles
• Node/Typescript backend experience, ability to write high quality code
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable components / applications in the AWS environment
• Work with frontend developers, backend engineers, and product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Implement security and data protection measures to ensure that the system is highly available and secure
• Champion quality architecture and code and implement best practices for full stack development, including testing, code reviews, and documentation
• Keep up to date with emerging trends in full stack development and contribute to improving our development processes
• Mentor and guide junior developers to ensure high-quality code
