Join Cerbo, a high-growth healthcare SaaS company, as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (LAMP) and contribute to the development and maintenance of their cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions, providing technical guidance to junior developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying up-to-date with new technologies. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, minimum 5 years of experience in software development and DevOps, expertise in PHP, Laravel, and cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and DevOps
- Expert level in PHP and be able to write efficient and effective code. You should also be able to write clean, maintainable, and testable code that follows best practices
- Proficient in database design and have experience optimizing database schemas
- You should have hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend systems
- You should be proficient in Laravel and have experience building web applications using the framework. Should be able to design and develop APIs, create database schemas, and build user interfaces using Laravel
- You should have experience with tools such as Git, Docker and Kubernetes
- You should have experience working with one or more cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and be familiar with their services and APIs
- You should be able to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and able to collaborate effectively with other team members
- As a senior engineer, you should be able to mentor and coach junior team members and provide technical guidance to the team
- You should be able to keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends and have a passion for continuous learning and improvement
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with top-level executives to strategize and implement the maintenance, modernization, and migration of our existing codebase to a cutting-edge cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform
- You will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of the organization
- You will work with other team members to understand the requirements and develop software that meets those needs
- You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and direction to junior developers, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- You will be responsible for reviewing code written by other team members and providing feedback to ensure that it meets the organization's standards and best practices
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements
- You will need to stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends to ensure that software solutions are cutting-edge and competitive
- You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
- You will need to communicate with stakeholders, including management, customers, and other teams, to ensure that software solutions meet their needs
