Summary

Join Huckleberry as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design and build new products and features using AI to improve the lives of children and families. You will own the full development lifecycle, leading projects from initial ideation to app store release. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML, UX, Product Management, and Marketing. Balance the need for simple, intuitive products with complex data demands. Our tech stack includes JavaScript, Angular, React, Ionic, Node.js, and GCP. This role requires strong communication skills to convey complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer
  • JavaScriptย  - Track record writing high-quality code including API calls, closures, debounce, and throttle and lexical scope
  • Node.js - Proven experience writing asynchronous code
  • Cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure) - Experience with availability, security, performance, and integrations
  • Experience designing and building new user-facing applications, products, or features
  • Experience designing and building products that scale
  • Proven track record ingesting and understanding user feedback to build new or iterative products that go beyond expectations
  • Track record of identifying multiple solutions to problems and using sound technical judgment and trade-offs to build great products
  • Proven track record in collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to successfully release products, applications, or features
  • Able to intake, understand and respond to user requirements
  • Able to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences at all levels of an organization to create understanding and alignment

Responsibilities

  • Communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver life-changing products
  • Web, Android, and iOS hybrid application design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Cloud infrastructure design, development, and management
  • Backend design and development including data structures and management
  • Running sprint planning and execution
  • Overseeing engineers during project execution
