Summary

This role requires experience with RESTful APIs, Ruby or Ruby on Rails, and Javascript frameworks. Requirements

  • You are a passionate software engineer that cares about your craft. You are excited to learn, lead projects and want to produce the best work possible
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with third-parties
  • Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails
  • Experience working with Javascript or JS frameworks (React, Vue, AngularJS, Next or similar)
  • Understanding of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, as well as CSS preprocessors
  • You can write tests and understand their value
  • You have a desire to learn and being open to feedback
  • Understanding of design patterns and clean code

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain internal tools and solutions that enhance efficiency and streamline operations across Fullscript's teams
  • Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations and APIs to facilitate efficient and secure data transfer between systems
  • Build scalable frontend and backend applications to support the growing needs of the business
  • Review pull requests, mentor, and be an advocate for high-quality code that makes future development faster, easier and better
  • Take full ownership and responsibility for building, shipping, testing, deploying and maintaining features
  • Scope and plan projects, working with stakeholders and other developers to implement them
  • Give input on high-level architecture decisions and communicate those decisions
  • Other duties determined by the company from time to time

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions
