Summary

Join Datahouse, a leading Swiss data and software solutions provider, and become part of the Wüest Dimensions Product Team in Lisbon. This team develops a robust enterprise platform for the real estate market, using a Scrum methodology. As a front-end developer, you will contribute to requirement analysis, UI/UX implementation, collaboration with other teams, architecture development, and technical excellence. The role requires a university degree in a relevant field, at least 5 years of front-end development experience, and proficiency in various technologies. Requirements

  • University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years in front-end development, including work on complex, long-term projects
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization
  • Experience with Git, Pull Requests, and Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent analytical skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Understand business needs and translate them into intuitive, high-performance front-end solutions that align with user expectations and industry standards
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable, maintainable and high-quality front-end applications with a keen focus on performance, accessibility and user experience
  • Partner effectively with designers, back-end engineers and key stakeholders to refine requirements, ensure seamless integration and enhance the overall user experience
  • Develop and implement efficient, reusable and testable code by leveraging modern front-end technologies, contributing to the continuous evolution of the front-end tech stack as well as advocate for best practices
  • Utilize deep technical expertise to drive engineering excellence, mentor peers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant technical certifications
  • Experience with working with and building Design Systems
