Senior Fullstack Developer

Summary

Join Xebia, a global technology company specializing in cloud-based solutions, and contribute to innovative projects for clients like UPS, McLaren, and Aviva. As a Software Engineer, you will work with a global client, suggest and select technological solutions, implement web applications and microservices in AWS, add new functionalities, ensure code quality, write tests, participate in code reviews, and potentially work on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. You will also have the opportunity to prepare for Azure and AWS certifications.

Requirements

• 5 + years of experience in Kotlin and Python
• Hands-on knowledge of React and TypeScript for building complex web UIs
• Demonstrable experience designing and deploying scalable applications, using PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP) and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Ability to develop and maintain both back-end and front-end solutions
• Knowledge of English at least B2+
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required

Responsibilities

• Working with a global international client
• Suggesting and selecting technological solutions within projects
• Participating in the implementation of web applications and microservices in AWS
• Working on adding new functionalities
• Taking care of code quality and readability
• Writing unit and integration tests
• Participating in code review
• From time to time, working on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Getting the chance to participate in joint preparations for Azure, AWS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in insurance, fintech, or advanced data analytics
• Knowledge of algorithms and data science tools, plus willingness to collaborate with data scientists
• Additional experience with other cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) or CI/CD automation tools
• Interest in process automation and cutting-edge trends in software engineering
