Senior Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Join Aircall's growing Communication Platform department as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to the design, development, deployment, and operation of business-critical features. You will be a key member of the Number Management team, responsible for building resilient services using Typescript and Ruby on AWS. This role involves collaboration with a diverse, international team, mentoring junior engineers, and participating in on-call rotations. Requirements

• You have at least 5+ years of experience in backend development with preferably a typed language (Typescript/ Node.js , Java, C#) with a focus on delivering for scalability, availability, security and performance
• You have at least 2+ years of experience working on frontend applications, preferably with React, but experience with Angular is also valued
• You have experience with serverless architectures, microservices or distributed systems
• You have worked extensively with AWS in a production environment and understand how to design for, deploy on and get the best out of, the environment and services provided by Amazon
• You can talk easily and spontaneously about most of the offerings on AWS, when to use them, and how, and can explain to junior engineers
• Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for our customers
• Have key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of key modules
• Write clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems
• Review, update, refactor, and debug code
• Be part of an engineering organization delivering high quality, secure, voice solutions to Aircall clients
• Involvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliability
