Join one of Blend's dynamic development teams and play a key role in migrating to a modern, serverless AWS multi-account architecture. You will develop backend services using TypeScript and Node.js, and user interfaces using React. This position requires expertise in backend and frontend development, experience with AWS and infrastructure as code, and a solid understanding of serverless architectures. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Work may be 100% remote if you are located in LATAM, or you can work in the Montevideo, Uruguay office. Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong expertise in backend development, primarily using TypeScript or Node.js
- Experience in frontend development with React, including API consumption and responsive design
- Hands on experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS and infrastructure as code using AWS SAM
- Solid understanding of serverless architectures and key AWS services (Lambda, S3, StepFunctions, DynamoDb, and others)
- Experience with unit testing using Jest or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and automation workflows
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working in global, multicultural teams
- Highly proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team
- In order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the migration to a modern, serverless AWS multi-account architecture, focusing on infrastructure efficiency and best practices
- Develop backend services using TypeScript and Node.js, leveraging infrastructure as code via AWS SAM
- Develop and maintain user interfaces using React, ensuring a modern, responsive user experience aligned with backend functionality
- Work with core AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and Step Functions
- Use GitHub Actions to manage CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployments across multiple environments
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is a plus
