Summary
Join Process Street, a no-code workflow platform startup, as a Senior Engineer to architect and develop our React/Scala/Play 2/Postgres app. You will research, guide, and execute backend architecture changes, deploy scalable backend API endpoints, build frontend components, and resolve performance bottlenecks. The role requires 7+ years of software development experience, including experience with Scala (or Java, Ruby, or C#), JavaScript & React, and building SaaS products at scale. Technical leadership experience and excellent communication skills are essential. Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience
- Experience with Scala (or Java, Ruby, or C#)
- Experience with JavaScript & React
- Experience building and maintaining a SaaS product at scale
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in Technical Leadership roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You live in North/South American time zones
- You have 7 or more years of experience in software development
Responsibilities
- Research, guide, and execute backend architecture changes
- Deploy scalable backend API endpoints
- Build Frontend re-using React components, Chakra and Storybook
- Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Build tools, processes, and documentation to improve our code quality
- Eventually be the Tech-lead of a team (2-3 developers)

- Experience with Scala is ideal but not required
