Senior Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Join our MoveHQ division as a highly motivated and experienced Fullstack Engineer to enhance the client and server-side components of MoveHQ's move management platform.

Requirements

• Experienced Fullstack Developer: 5+ years of web software development experience, with significant expertise in PHP, JavaScript, and possibly other backend languages like Ruby
• Proven Track Record: Successfully developed and shipped high-quality SaaS products, demonstrating an ability to solve complex software engineering problems
• Database and ORM Proficiency: Experienced with relational databases and ORM systems, crafting efficient, scalable database interactions
• Testing and Automation Expertise: Proficient with testing frameworks and automation, ensuring robust and reliable software solutions
• Agile Methodology Familiarity: Well-versed in agile development practices and tools such as Scrum and Jira
• CI/CD Experience: Skilled in continuous integration and delivery practices, using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions
• Communication Skills: Excellent at both written and verbal communication, able to produce high-quality technical documentation and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop and Optimize Platform Features: Design, develop, and deploy new features for the MoveHQ suite of products
• Enhance Software Quality and Performance: Collaborate with your team to elevate the platform’s reliability and performance
• Lead Technical Implementations: As a senior member of the team, lead the technical implementation of projects on the MoveHQ product roadmap
• Mentorship and Leadership: Elevate the engineering team’s capabilities by mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices in software development
• Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Build and oversee the continuous integration and delivery pipelines for team-owned applications

• Willingness to take on complex problems and drive technical solutions across the full stack
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a distributed team
