Summary

Join Servant Digital, a company specializing in digital transformation for faith communities, as a Full Stack Developer for a 3-month contract. You will develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, pnpm, and NextJS, collaborating with cross-functional teams and the client to deliver high-quality solutions and increase project velocity. Requirements

  • Proficiency in Node.js (version 14.x or later)
  • Experience with pnpm (version 6.x or later) for managing packages
  • Strong knowledge of NextJS (version 14.2.5) and its ecosystem
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript (ES6+), REST APIs, and server-side rendering
  • Proven ability to work in an Agile development environment, and familiarity with JIRA
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote team setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, monorepo development environments, and NextJS
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring optimal performance
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement solutions
  • Work closely with the client to help increase project velocity, meeting tight deadlines and deliverables
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews and testing
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning to ensure timely delivery of project milestones

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with additional modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Prior consulting experience
