Senior FullStack Software Engineer

Summary

Join Elastic's Security Solutions team to build a new, central security analytics solution. This is a greenfield project within a small, remote team, requiring a blend of development and product skills. You will write and maintain high-quality Typescript code, develop Kibana plugins, create visualizations and UI workflows, and build Node.js background tasks. Collaboration with the support team and open-source contributions are also expected. The ideal candidate possesses significant software development experience, expertise in specific technologies, and a strong interest in automated testing.

Requirements

• Experience with developing and maintaining reasonably sophisticated software projects with high quality and over multiple years
• Hands on experience with {Node.js, Typescript, React/Angular, GraphQL}
• Ability to work in a distributed team throughout the world
• Interest and experience in various types of automated testing

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain high-quality Typescript code
• Experience developing Kibana plugins
• Create visualizations and UI workflows that serve security analytics use cases
• Create Node.js background tasks that do data searches and manipulations
• Work on open-source and make SIEM technologies available to a lot of new users
• Work with our support team to help customers and answer community questions
